And by March Madness I'm not talking
about all that ball-bouncing silliness...
I'm talking about WRITING at great
speed!
I'm talking about EDITING MADNESS!
I'm talking about Setting yourself a
DEADLINE and pushing yourself hard!
When does it happen?
*cough*
Erm... did you READ the headline?
MARCH.
But unlike NaNoWriMo, BuNoWriMo, or
NaNoEdMo YOU get to pick your project. You can pick the size, you can
pick the type... But the SAME support system as BuNoWriMo...
In fact BuNoWriMo on Facebook is
where we'll be coordinating... (just ask to join—we'll let you in).
So what are my PLANS?
I HAVE to finally finish the first
draft of the end of my serial. AND I need to get What Ales Me edited.
That is about 30,000 new words and one serious edit...

If I hope to finish my manuscript before the Challenge, I might have to join your March Madness.
We'd love to have you, Alex!
I'll be doing MFA stuff anyway, and who knows! Maybe my book will sell and i'll have to do stuff with that, too! So count me (tentatively) in
gah! I do need another push - think I have just one more BIG revision to do on Bright Angel. Shall I? I'll have to have it done by March 23rd as I fly outa here to Ottawa for baby watch.
I take it that for the next couple weeks you won't get any sleep or have a single minute off. Hang in there!
Sounds like grueling fun Hart! I'm not a writer, so I won't be joining, but there will be another kind of March Madness coming on the blog...
Grueling fun! I love that phrasing!
Sounds like fun--I may have to follow along! :)
I'm there with you - finishing book three for the first edit in March!
Go - go - go! I mean, Write - write - write!
PS:Looking forward to the completion of the series - I've bought and read them all - so far! Wonderful, simply wonderful!
I have to start Scarlet Magi soon, the last book in my superhero trilogy. I'll be working on that next now that I've released Bloodlust.
Editing What Ales Me? Does that mean it's headed for print very soon? I hope so.
