Vicuña, Verbage and Verybusy

Vicuña

I know, right? They are smaller, elegant WILD llamas! They have amazing soft wool, but because they are wild and it grows slow, it is much harder to come by than llama or alpaca wool. These lovelies live in Argentina, Peru and Bolivia.

Verbage

And by verbage, I don't just mean verbs... erm... I mean WORDS. I love words. Wordplay, wordliness (though not so much wordiness), I just LOVE words. I especially love really creative uses of words... making words up or altering form creatively--verbizing nouns and adjectiving verbs...

It's just how I roll...

And for the second time this month, I must beg off the author piece... I apologize, but we had some sad family news YESTERDAY:  My father-in-law passed, not unexpectedly, but still sadly. And TODAY is my daughter's 18th birthday (I can't believe I have a child who's an adult), so I have some heavy balancing going on off screen... (tomorrow might be a little off, too)

Sorry for your loss. I know about balance. Just last month I had a loss. I'm still teetering a bit, but it's getting better. And kids? They do grow up fast.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you.

Happy BDay to your daughter. It is s shocker when they become an adult. Wait until she turns 30. I tell my kids they can't be that old because I know I'm not.

Oh, sorry to hear that, Tami. *hugs* And happy birthday to Thing 1!! Dale hits 17 in June... surely that can't be right. *scratches head*

We had a mind meld with the Inigo pictures today... love it when that happens.

Good luck with the busy-ness! *glomps*
