Alphabetical Assembly

So this is a wild hair and a little nutso and all but I thought... since I am blogging every day in October, that maybe I'd do the alphabetic thing that I first saw from arleebird last April. I figure with yesterday's tribute and my guest post, the leftover days are about right for the alphabet, so hey, why not...

Ass Acquisition

While I'd PREFER not to do this, it seems to be the state of things... I can't resist eating... the size of my back side grows... I think we should all hold a moment of silence for the ass ascension that we'd like to occur....

*cough *

Appetite

Not in control, or the ass problem would recede.

And finally AWARDS

Now FINALLY, I have something to say!

I've received two awards this week from fabulous friends, and it is time I pass them along.

So first... from Jan, at Crazy Jane I received the Literacy Builder Award, for which I feel inadequate, but thought I'd go through my blog roll and decide who most promoted READING, so I am awarding the Literacy Builder Award to:

HA!  And I totally forgot the five favorite words part!

NAKED
BENDY
INNUENDO
CACOPHONY
MISATTRIBUTING

Kimberly Loomis at the Perpetual Writer for her dedicated focus on what we READ as well as what we write.

Jane Kennedy, at Jane's Ride for being on top of the reading world and making sure we don't forget what is important

and to...

Jenny at Suspense Your Disbelief for her dedication to the publication process.

And then the Second Award, an original, created by Leigh at That's Right [http://leightmoore.blogspot.com/] for the Strangely Irresistable Award... though I have no idea what she's talking about... but I want to pass it on to the blogs I find strangely irresistable...

Simon, at Constant Revisions because Simon, as the only Man-tart I know, and my clear TWIN in this lifetime seems to have this magnetic draw... like a mirror... with special effects...

Boonsong at Boonie's Thailand Photos for his always interesting windows to Thailand, and his always chuckle-worthy translation of what's in those windows.

And Barb and Deb at The Middle Ages for r their unflinching look at the things in life, good and bad, that make it LIFE...

So there we have Saturday...

Have a great weekend, my friends!

Amazing! Astounding! And all sorts of awesome. Appreciate your passing on the award to me, good lady. After all, one can never have too many of those, and ones with creepy stuffed animal thingies on them are awfully hard to come by. O.o

And I'm still trying to figure out how we managed to be separated at birth, being born on different continents and a few years apart, but I'll figure it out eventually. ;)

All the best from S!

Thanks for the award. I’m not sure exactly what I should do with it, and I don’t like to ask just in case I don’t like the answer I receive.
Loved this post. Too bad about the ass-appetite conflict.

All the best, Boonie

Congratulations on the awards.
And what's wrong with a little extra booty?

Kudos on the awards, and for passing them along. Good luck on the blogging everyday committment.

Boonsong--lots of options-- post the award in a sidebar, pass it on, both, neither... your choice. I think you know I'm easy...

Thanks so much, everyone!

Alex, I wouldn't argue, but extra booty is one thing--super extra is another... to me it has to do with BMI, actually--I can live with overweight, but when I approach 'obese' I panic... I just happen to CARRY it in my booty.

Misattributing is a fab word!!

Congratulations with your gorgeous awards!!! Yay!! And that bum pic is so naughty! You don;t have a big bum - just a writer's one! So there! Take care

Thanks so much for the award, Hart!! We are thrilled!

As for the ass-conundrum -- don't hate me for this because it is deeply not-any-better -- but my ass seems to be shrinking! It's so not sexy. Pretty soon I'll need one of those booty-pads.

Congratulations on your awards. I am so flattered to be included among the recipients for the Literacy Builder Award. I thought I’d better say, “Thank you,” really quick before you had the chance to change your mind!) I like your choice of words, particularly cacophony.

BTW if my butt looked like the one in the photo, I wouldn’t mind it being big!

You're doing NaBloWriMo? Awesome!
I wonder what B is going to be tommorrow. ;)

Leigh--I ACCEPT Smartybutt, as it acknowledges my lack of pants!

Barbara--I keep waiting for that weight loss thing, but I had in my head it lagged behind menopause by about 10 years, and since menopause is still on the horizon a bit... though I didn't think you were that much ahead of me age-wise... 5 years or so? yes?

Jane--no mind changeing involved! And so far as WORDS go, cacophony is probably the best... I just like the definitions of the others, though misattribution gets bonus points for doing what it says...

Esmirelda--not long to wait---going up in the morning!

oh, I wanted to do a comment all in b's but I can't I'm tooooooo tired. We went to Lunenburg today with Felix and went looking at sailboats and eating yummy stuff and I'm simply pooped. Plus the arses at the Globe & Mail have decided to 'improve' our nation's paper by making it look like some barbie doll brain made it. argghh. going to bed and read Louise Penney mystery. yay. I'll be naked. I'm not nanobloggoing but the naked thing I'm in on. In fact I'm calling it nanonakedo. Like? You can borrow it.

Cool! An award with Yo Gabba Gabba. I have to admit, I am a little jealous.
