Attitude Already

Who me? Maybe. Let's SEE!

Astonishing Animals are Amusing.

Aardvark
And here we have an aardwolf pup--who knew THESE existed!? (thanks Rosie!)
(Giant) Anteater
Armadillo

an observation: Animals that begin with A are a little odd... (though I confess to liking them for that...)

This is ALSO an Armadillo... the Glasgow amphitheater, nicknamed, the Armadillo... (I've been there... it isn't nearly so strange inside... and I LIKE its strangeness outside)

Appetizing Arrangements

Asparugus

Artichokes

And Veggies that start with A take my #1 and #1 favorite spot! Who knew!?

Anomalous Apostrophes

yeahno

This last is the funniest to me...

Okay, so that doesn't explain my attitude... but it's there. Trust me.
And an idea I stole directly from Alex?  Sharing blogs... for today... two A Blogs that I never miss!

Alex Cavanaugh
And Alliterative Allomorph with Jessica Bell

Good luck on A to Z progress, gang!

I REALLY can't stand apostrophes in their wrong place's. haha just kidding on that last word. Seriously, people need to go to school! *twitch twitch* Especially if they're in the sign-writing business!

Those signs seriously make me despair of all humanity...alot <---- See what I did there? hahahaha! I crack myself up!

My co-workers are notorious for misplacing apostrophes. I then give them a hard time over it. You'd think they'd start putting them in the right place just to get me to shut up.

A really fun post!

Are you going to do all your A-Z challenges in pictures? That would be like an extra added twist.

Apparently the people who are responsible for naming ugly animals have something against the letter "A".

Hart Johnson said...

*giggles* Thanks so much, everyone! As for pics in the A to Z--a lot of them. There are a couple topics I want to hit more completely and won't go this route, but I thought an animal, a food and a writing thing, if I could do it in brief, was a nice route for a lot of the month.

That aardvark is so cool - part pig, part donkey, part elephant. All in a tiny package.

Have an amazing April.

Great post! I found you through the A-Z Blogging Challenge, but I read a few other posts and something caught my eye. Your mention of Harry Potter fanfics! I too explored my writing by writing a HP fic, so we already have something in common! :D

The food made me hungry. ;)

And I laughed at the random apostrophes. :D

What an awesome way to start the A-Z challenge!

Hah, the signs are funny to me...while I may not be the most prolific in grammar, I know when it is incorrect and it drives me nuts...oh well! talking about attitude!

RosieC said...

In my quest for word suggestions on FB/Twitter/etc., for "A" I received "aardwolf". They're cute little canines that eat insects in Africa. Less exotic than it's A-kin features above, but cute, and if you hadn't heard of them, I wanted to share :)

Who knew that 'a' animals were so odd! Very interesting indeed. The apostrophe thing is probably one of my biggest pet peeves, I'm so glad that it bothers other people too! haha Great post!

The Armadillo and Anteater are just too cool...weird, very weird, but in a cool way. They seem like from another planet or out of a fantasy novel/movie.
