Year of the BEAST!

*dons best Brother Maynard voice*

In this year of our Lord Two thousand and ten. And. One. In the land of Asia Major, on this week the first of the second month on the fifth (third) Third day, it was declared to be the year of the RABBIT!

*gasps ensue*

As ye know from the blasphemous enchanter. Tim. This can be. Misleading.

*leers at crowd *

As can be seen in this historical documentation, bunnies are not to be. Underestimated.

And so with this in mind, I am here to prepare you for what to expect...

If you go... READING about rabbit years, you will see a lot of nonsense about CALM... about a STEADY PACE... about how the rabbit has a lot less leaps and stops than that moody tiger (of which I live with two *mutters*)... but does THIS sound like the lesson you learned from the tortoise and the hare? What's MORE, does it sound like the Beast of Caerbannog?

Just a little BUNNY they say.
Nothing to be AFRAID OF they say...

PAH!

I say it is time to grit down and give it a push while all these other pansies are lollygagging along!

I declare, in THIS, the year of the RABBIT, I will:

EDIT FIVE OF MY BOOKS!

1)  LEGACY
2)  Kahlotus Disposal Site
5) Confluence

WRITE FIVE NEW BOOKS!

1)  Cozy mystery #2
2)  Microbrew Mystery the 1st
5) Cozy Mystery #5

And I will get an additional contract!

And so it will be.

If you are curious what OTHERS say the year of the rabbit will bring, you can look at the nonsense these people have to say:

jump-start-your-business

And Happy New Year to all of you!

Soooo.. Any particular reason you're writing #5 before 3 and 4, or am I missing something..? Could it be that the year of the rabbit is also the year of alternative counting? 1, 6, 18, 21, 69, 88? Anyway, good luck whether the bunnies get to you or not. You might find yourself in good company, that's all...

Eh-hem, Three Milord (Milady?).

(I so watched MP just this week)

Sounds like a good year to get things done.

Cruella, do I need to send you to watch the episode of the Holy Hand Grenade?

Watch out for the bunnies, you never know what's underneath that fur!

My first novel features a large black rabbit with opalescent eyes and he's totally now what he seems to be. LOL

Have a great weekend, Hart.

You gotta have vision and declare it for the world to hear! Best wishes for your success.

I was born in the year of the rabbit - not this year though..... And I have all the rabbit qualities: I'm a vegetarian, and I bother the missus a lot. This rabbit stuff has a lot to recommend it.

Have a nice day, Boonie

Um, I better go do some reading up on bunnies. I hope you can accomplish all your goals! Ha! I just had an image of a naked guerrilla bunny, toting an uzi and a laptop! Was that you?

Hopping down the bunny trail of success this year! Go team, Bunnies!

Your Brother Maynard voice is quite taking. I'd hate to be born in the year of the rabbit. All that worthless hopping.

I want to write one book this year, but I might have to wait until the year of the dragon to come around.
