Butterman Cover Reveal and Time Travel Blogfest

Halo, fine friends!!! I'm participating today in a Time Travel Blogfest and cover reveal for PK Hrezo!!!

For the blogfest theme, BOOK YOUR TIME TRIP TODAY, if you could walk into a time travel agency and book a time trip, where and when would it be, and why?

Let's see... when would I go?

Judgment of Paris
Let's see... I would have been thought most beautiful in Ruben's age... And LOOK how NAKED everyone was!!!

But I would have been FREAKISHILY tall... I think a tall MAN back then was about 5'8"...

And all the consumption and dysentary... and the life expectation was only what? 40? So a visit might be okay, but I wouldn't want to stay long.

And there are times that seem so intriguing... the roaring 20s or the Summer of Love (1968)... but I think we are still so far from being truly enlightened. No... I think I am headed to the future to see if we've managed to place intellect, compassion, and humanity before vanity and greed. How far forward do I think we need to go?

Possibly New New New New York of the future... Though it has its problems... Still... getting to have my OWN kittens...

Or 3rd Earth, a la Pendragon... Though the one that is cool is a moving target...

Yes, the future is uncertain, but I think I'd like the hint as to what goes right and wrong so I could come back and try to guide things along a bit.

Go check out when everyone else visits here.

I'd have been too tall back then, too. People would have stared...ugh.

I like your idea of heading to the future!

Hi, Hart. Interesting choice for a time travel trip. CONGRATS to Pk! Great book cover. Looking forward to reading the book.

Well I'd fit right in there...plump AND short! LOL. Great idea...well, except for the disease.
I'd love to see the future, too, and you know I'm a fan of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey things, but in a way I also DON'T want to know. What if our government can't pull it's head out of it's rear and things just collapse? I don't think I'd like to see that...I think I'd rather have walking dead...

Maybe the Roaring Twenties? But yeah, I'm more of a future kind of gal too.

LOL... your own kittens? Oh that was such a fun Who episode!! Future NYC exists in BT but I"m sorry to say not much enlightenment. I'm all about the summer of love, tho.... there's a little of that in BT too.

Great answers, Hart!! Thanks so much for participating!!

I thought the future would be good, but depending on how far out you go. I wouldn't want any hints as to like major world events if they would happen during my lifetime. 'What I don't know won't hurt me' kind of thing.

Traveling into the future scares me, so my trip is in the past, but not too far. lol

I also love the plots of Terminator and Prisoner of Azkaban. POA is my favorite Harry Potter book and movie! :D

Future time travel? No thanks. I'll stick to the past.
I say, leave the future exactly as is... a mystery waiting to unfold...
PK's cover is ab fab!

You've got spunk... the future... Not me... I love the past... Times were gracious, beautiful, and people spoke intelligently.... that's for me!

Yeah, I think bad hygiene alone would keep me from going back in time.

Ha, why aren't I surprised that you'd choose an age where those with curves flaunted them. A little different to our age. Not seeing many Reuben-inspired paintings of gaunt bodies, lol!

I would love to travel into the future to see what things would be like. But the past has some pretty interesting things to. I'd probably go back to the '60s.

No, you'd like to return to an era where nudity flourished? Did not see that coming, lol.

New new new New York sounds adventurous.

The Rubenesque period is one of favorite artistic periods Hart and I'd be a giant at 5' 10"! I could be one of the Harlem Globetrotters.

The Butterman book sounds very clever, so I'll check it out.

Me, I'd be a time-traveling addict going all over the place, but Shakespeare's time and the Globe Theatre would probably top my list.

Ha! Funny post Hart. My only question about the time travel would be this: Would it be classist? Would you get what you paid for? I mean, I would absolutely love to go back to Renaissance England if I could have a vacation with the jet-set and live the lifestyle of the upper-crusty court, but I'm afraid on my current budget I would only be able to afford, well...crust. And soot.
