Halo fine people! Today I'm participating in Gary at Klahanie's Anti-blog Blogfest... what blogfest would YOU never join? This idea tickled me. I bet we see some funny stuff today. And certainly we should get to know a little more about our bloggy friends.
You guys know me (or not)--I'm totally easy. There's not much I wouldn't do, but there ARE a couple, so here we go...
Well, maybe THIS kind of Bad Book Blogfest... |
Ask who cut the cheese? |
Now THIS is stylin! |
Erm... yeahno. |
2: Domestic Diva Blogfest. I hate cleaning. In fact I really just figure stuff just gets dirty again. I'm not much into cooking and don't garden. Laundry is the bane of my existence. This is just NOT my area of expertise. Or interest.
Say it with me: Get them OFF! |
1: The Joy of Pants Blogfest: Y'all KNOW how I feel about pants, yes? Say it with me: Pants are evil! Down with Pants! So this is the very last blogfest I would ever join...
So have I offended everyone? Hopefully not. Now go check what everybody ELSE would not do for a blogfest!
[did anyone notice I counted to three like King Arthur? It is my way.]

I'm with you on staying far away from any fashion blogfest. I hate clothes, have a lousy fashion sense, and I DON'T CARE. I'd rather go naked too, but I don't dare blind people with my bright white skin.
Thanks for joining this blogfest, Hart.

We're a lot alike. I'd pick all your choices except for the pants one. Sorry, I wear them all the time, including pant suits instead of suits to work.
I'm with you on 5, 3, and 2. I have a quote in my office that was from some ad and it says, "I have my own dress code. I wear what I want." :)
Anything to do with wearing clothes and you are out of there!
And that first one would be a career killer.
I'm definitely with you on the first one! I follow that old Mommy Rule...if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all!
As far as caring about style...ugh. This is why my characters dress as poorly as I do!
Love all your blogfest ideas - that is, for 'fests to avoid in future. :) I quite like having my clothes on, but I am definitely not a fashionista over here.
I also have a friend whose daughter always tried to dress her/do her makeup (from about age 9 too I think - and her daughter WAS a complete fashionista in the making), but I remember my friend saying to her once, "Now, listen to me - I think you're very beautiful and you look wonderful, but that's how YOU like to dress. I think *I* look beautiful too, and this is how *I* like to dress. We're just different people." :P
Now I have to say that "In Style" might be just up my alley. After all, see how fashionable stylish I am in my tweedy-weedy jacket and high-water britches. Yeah. You gotta be the cat's, ya know, in my profession. Or is that wear the cats? Er, um...But your others? *shudders* No, thanks, gal!
LOL. Great anti-blogfests! They really bring out your personality. And I think you make an excellent point with #5.
Here are mine!
I couldn't do the In Style Blogfest. I have no sense of style. My husband usually helps me pick out my clothes.
Hart,
I've seen you around, but I never knew you were the watery tart. Great non-fests!

You and I are fashion sisters. Great anti-fest ideas. We are so alike...
Tina @ Life is Good
sounds like an anti style blogfest, and tips on how to make the house look clean in 15 minutes when surprise guests call to say they are on their way, would be the type of blogfests we could both join. :)
Interesting enough, I agree with everything you posted. Haha!
I'm not a big fan of cleaning, either!
They all have a point. The pants one .... naugh
You babes who want to go naked make me smile..... tell me that when you are 85. LOL
Oh gosh... I hear you with the clothes thing... I feel like so many people around me are focused on what they look like, what they wear, how fashionable they are... makes me wish I lived back in the day where everyone had 2 outfits. One set of every day clothes and one pair of special occasion clothes... !!!
Love your fests--spot on stuff here, Hart!
Hi Hart - love Hagrid's book of Teaching Rare Creatures ..
Being told what to do - nope very rarely conform .. style - not me either .. domestic diva - most definitely not now-a-days ..
Joy of Pants - not that either ..
Great selections you've got here ... thank goodness these will be missing from the choices ..
Cheers Hiilary
LOL Joy of Pants blogfest!! That made me laugh. And I definitely wouldn't be up for a household tips blogfest either!!
down with the pants, up with the life... wait what?
The Blog-fest that make me want to say "NO"...

I feel you on no#2... and that's why I have a domestic assistant who helps me...

"The Joy of Pants" would be the perfect anti-blogfest for you Hart. Even if you did just cover the "Travelling Pants" movies. LOL
ROFL! I can SO identify with you on the In Style Blogfest. I just don't get what all the fuss is about.
I'd say the last one was quite offensively hilarious... nothing personal...really... ehm....
I'm not slave to fashion, either, so you wouldn't catch me signing up for that one.
The Miss Manners one, htough, sounds like it would be good for some comic relief :)
I'm a prime candidate to avoid that fashion one, too. If it fits, I'll wear it. Close enough. And I'll continue to wear it until it either falls apart, or I can no longer fit my fat arse in it. Fashion is for OTHER people. I want to be comfortable.
I can se you doing the last one hahaha. And hey, why do laundry if you don't care about fashion. Me, I can where the same shirt three days straight.
Bad books? The only book I've publicly bashed is Celestine Prophecy, which is okay because it sold something like 10 million books so the author can't possibly care about me.
Good manners mean never being bossy or embarrassing someone. Nitpicky and bossy propriety types I can't stand.
Fashion? I like it generally. But labels and designers and obsession with it isn't just silly, it seems morally wrong (as in egotism and OBSCENE prices).
I am so not domestic. So I have to force myself to do the basic cleaning.
Pants. Okay, I like pants. Both undies and outies. But hey, that's just me.
Greetings Hart,
And things just get better or worse. To think, you accepted my friend request on 'Farcebook'. You probably wondered who I am. Well, so do I :)
You rebel, you. Gosh, you did five instead of three. Which I'm grateful for. This means I get to say "yuck!" to a bonus two selections.
Good old King Arthur is proud of you. A weird looking magician told me this. And with your last blogfest in mind, my comment has reached the bottom.
The End.
Gary :)
Oh my family would probably sign me up for The Domestic Diva Blogfest. Though I can't stand dirt and clutter, I'm no match for June Cleaver. I'd also order pizza every night for dinner if I could. Great list Hart!
Julie
Great choices for blogfests to avoid. :-D
Hello, MS Tart!
Love your fests.... As you know I do love fashion, but I am not one for trends. MY favorite shopping is at THRIFT STORES... great clothes... since we HAVE to wear them... at an amazing price...
I hate clutter, so I clean. HATE it! But, do it!
Cooking... I'm with you... Hate to cook, LOVE to bake though. Anything with chocolate and is sweet... I'm on it! LOL.
As for pants... They certainly can be a nuisance, especially to us guys with that zipper an all. LOL.
Ha! I'm with you on the Style Blogfest. There's much to be said for comfy clothes.
Those are awesome!!
