I know there are more. LOL

My hubs and I got the new iphone4 and it's got a little doo-dad called "face-time". It wasn't so much Alvin or his brothers that I loved, but a seperate cartoon that appeared during the show. His name was Clyde Crashcup and he had a diminuitive assistant named Leonardo, who never spoke (he only whipsered into Clyde's ear). Clyded would invent something (i.e.: Grvaity, bathtub, the wife [that one was a beauty]), it would go horribly wrong and then Leonardo would fix it. I even have a production drawing and animation cel from this cartoon. Clyde Crashcup was the inspiration for me wanting to become a scientist.
Another inspiration was Captain Kangaroo, otherwise known as Bob Keeshan. His unique program was instrumental in shaping my mind towards the joy of learning.
Despite what many psychologists would have you believe, television did not rot my brain. In fact, my fondest memories of childhood were of Saturday mornings in front of the TV machine watching the Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour and eating Captain Crunch with Crunchberries cereal.
And of course, wondering what Clyde would invent this week.James C. The best version I ever heard of this tune was the jazz harp version which I heard played once on a classical music station. Sounds weird, but it was actually totally cool.
