Ha Ha—Now THAT's Funny!

So tomorrow is the Laughter is the Best Medicine Blogfest, and I signed up, but... being me... I am double booked, so I am posting the HUMOR one tonight, and will link it tomorrow, but tomorrow have a guest author... it's all good.

I am sort of a twisted mix, humor wise. You may guess from my blog name that I am a Monty Python nut... specifically, THIS sketch.

I also am fairly obsessed with cross dressing and nudity, as best represented by this (the funniest thing ever):

Photobucket

Then again, I am fine adding angles of LOLZ cats...

designed and created by Rissa Montano
Or llamatized...

And then the quintessential me...

So that's what I think is funny--no surprises there, I suppose... then again, I am pretty easy to make laugh...

  3. I think Monty Python is hilarious. I need to introduce it to my kids, now that you reminded me about it.

I love the first funny you posted here. I HATE underwear. I really do. I go commando whenever no one is paying attention.

  5. LMAO

Seriousl honey, you gotta quit this when I'm sucking down the wine.

Eek, do I hate Monty Python. But his stuff is like a car wreck you can't help craning your neck for. Laughing despite the disgust. I think the witch/duck debate is my favorite . .

Good stuff here Hart. Thank you.

  9. teehee-thank you my friends! So funny some people don't feel the Python love--I totally love that, but part of it, I think, is I adore a British accent--the same stuff wouldn't necessarily be funny in 'american' (though I've been known to laugh at Canadian humor, too--it is just the American humor that doesn't quite cut it)

  12. I'm not doing the blogfest but if you give me a joke, why I'll give you one:
A cowboy goes into a strange town. He stops at the saloon and notices that there's no one there but the old bartender. He asks the guy where everyone has gone.
The bartender says, "Wellll, we had us a visitor. A guy came into the saloon earlier wearing a paper bag shirt, a paper bag pair of pants and a paper bag stetson. He has been hauled out by the sheriff and everyone is at the hanging."
The cowboy asks, "Why are you hanging him?"
    The bartender replies, "Rustling."

  13. I remember a hot summer day in Manhattan, where it gets sticky vile in the summer.

I was washing dishes (with cold water, I confess--too hot for hot) and I heard the southern belle / model, next door yoo-hooing me. I was in my apartment, many flights up, and was across the room. There was nothing but the fire escape in my near view.

I turned around to look, and there was my neighbor, leaning all the way out her window and turned sideways to see in mine, which was at a ninety-degree angle to hers.

See turned bright red and stuttered and apologized and waived and whipped her head back inside so fast she's lucky she didn't knock it off.

    Indoor clothing? What a concept!

  18. So funny. I'd feel creeped out if my boyfriend shared my underwear but perhaps the up side is that I'd do less laundry.

I love being naked. (Crap, did I say that out loud?)
